190k, one owner? Serviced regularly at same dealer.
I’m hearing they want ~$12k for it.
Looks clean and well cared for. I can get pics and VIN later if needed.

The one-owner thing is huge, but I still can’t get over how many high-mileage GX and LX models are out there (I’m casually looking). That’s a lot of gasoline over a relatively short lifetime.
Or, put another way, if someone is driving 12-15k+ miles/year, a BOF V8 SUV
is kind of
an odd vehicle choice.

uh...yeah or two of them

That person would have to be a crackhead, then!
What’s weirder is that even though I see at least 20-30 GX470 on the road
every day (and even more 460 just because they’re newer), the combined listings for CL and Autotrader in my area might be 3-4 models total — in a metro area comparable in size to SLC. Time to start leaving notes on the ones I like around town. Like some sort of crackhead.

They are SUPER common around here, but finding one was hard. you hold on to a vehicle that takes care of you...especially at 2 bucks a gallon.

Hey, once that depreciation curve flattens out (and maintenance is minor), gas is just a drop in the bucket*
*monetarily; ignoring environmental stuff

yup. I did the math and realized that a 7 seater that gets 15 mpg and costs 17 grand is better than 7 seater that gets 16 mpg and costs 25 grand. Seriously, the average mpg of all 5 people I know with minivans is no better than 16 around town (where the gx spends its life). might as well be able to tow 6500 lbs, get v8 power and have no worried with bad weather, right?

$12k for an 06 is NP in my book. When I drove a few last spring, ones around the same mileage here in CO were commanding $15k, on the low end, and closer to $20k.

$12k for an ‘06? Thats a heck of a deal imo.

Different car, but I bought my ‘05 Pathfinder for exactly that - wanted a comfy bruiser that could handle Chicago street parking (side streets are rarely plowed) and 20-24k miles/year. Only a V6, but still a BOF SUV that gets 15 mpg on winter gas in Chicago traffic. The truck did that job like a champ, too.
